Why kitesurfing in Anguilla is a good choice ?

The island of Anguilla is located in the Antillean arc, right opposite the island of Saint Martin.

Independent (but with British influence), the island offers stunning landscapes and beautiful beaches (more than 30 different beaches, all very pleasant). It is a much less touristy island than Guadeloupe or Martinique for example, so it’s more peaceful.

It is an ideal destination for families, if you want to mix beach, rest, walks and some kite sessions. However, if you are looking for a “100% all-out kite” trip, it may not be the best destination.

NB: The island of Anguilla is 30 minutes by ferry from the port of Marigot (located on the island of Saint Martin).

Best period and spots to kite in Anguilla

Regarding kitesurfing, the main spots are Cove Bay and Rendez-Vous Bay, located in the southwest of the island.

As for the rest, there are several “secret spots” ideal for sailing, but it’s better to inquire with schools that can take you there for the day.

Anguilla is not yet a highly developed kite-surfing destination. (Nature lovers and adventurers will be delighted).

Best time (for wind): December to July.

What are the best non kitesurfing activities ?

Apart from kitesurfing, Anguilla is an island where the main activity will be exploring its beaches. The sea beds of Anguilla are very rich, and you should not miss having at least one good snorkeling session.

If you have a license, it’s also a good experience to rent a boat to be able to reach incredible beaches that are only accessible by sea.
