Why kitesurfing in United States is a good choice ?

Across the Atlantic, the United States is not yet a very popular kitesurfing destination, and yet… this continent-country offers very varied conditions throughout the year on its three coasts: its Atlantic and Pacific coasts are swept by the wind, and although the South coast facing the Gulf of Mexico is less exposed, the water there is all the warmer!

There is space, not much traffic on the spots… In short, there is plenty to do!

Best period and spots to kite in United States

As you may guess, there are dozens of spots to discover given the extent of the coasts. Most are still little frequented by kite.

We can already talk about Cape Hatteras in North Carolina (on the east coast of the USA, halfway between NY and Florida) and the bay of San Francisco, in California.

For the wind, it really depends on the spots and regions. Find the stats and seasons on each spot’s page!
