Why kitesurfing in Saint Pierre and Miquelon is a good choice ?

Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon is a French archipelago in North America, located in the North Atlantic Ocean, 25 kms south of the Canadian island of Newfoundland.

Formerly an overseas department, then a territorial community with a special status, it is now an overseas community.

The archipelago is composed of two main islands:

– Saint-Pierre (26 square kms, 8 kms from north to south), the smaller island that however houses 86% of the population

– Miquelon (216 square kms and 40 kms from north to south) consisting of two peninsulas: Grande Miquelon and Langlade, connected by a sandy isthmus. Other small uninhabited islands and islets are part of the archipelago.

The climate of the islands follows the trends of Newfoundland: it is a cold and humid oceanic climate with strong maritime moderation.
