Kitesurf in Grenadines Islands : all you need to know
The Grenadines are an excellent kitesurfing destination for those who enjoy riding in postcard-like scenery.
Small islands and crystal clear waters are what awaits you if you go on a kite trip in the region. The best season to go kiting in the Grenadines is during the trade winds period, from November-December to July.
It’s an archipelago that is full of kitesurfing spots, each more incredible than the next.
Among the most well-known, I would mention Union Island and Tobago Cays.
It’s the ultimate destination for experiencing incredible kitesurf cruises.

Why kitesurfing in Grenadines Islands is a good choice ?
The Grenadines Islands are a dream destination: the archipelago is located in the south of the West Indies, between Saint Lucia and Grenada, and has dozens of idyllic islets. This was the setting used for the filming of Pirates of the Caribbean.
The landscape is breathtaking: a translucent and radiant sea, beautiful fauna and flora, white sandbanks everywhere.
It’s an ideal destination by boat (cruise – you navigate from spot to spot) or for a hotel stay (prefer Union Island or Palm Island, which are good starting points for sailing to neighboring islands for the day). From Union Island, it’s very easy to reach Mayreau Island, or the Tobago Cays for a day trip.
In any case, you will enjoy perfect kite conditions and the beauty of the scenery.
NB: Saint Vincent is the main island.
Best season for kiting: December to May.
