Djerba, sud de l'île: kite spot summary
In the southeast of the island, near the tourist area of Midoun, towards the Roman road (el kantara), there is a huge shallow lagoon of 40 square kilometers.
And on this lagoon is the spot of Souk el Ghebli: flat water, side-onshore wind… In short, a very secure spot, and also quite nice for freestyle.
The place is ideal for taking your first rides. There are several clubs on site that offer lessons or rentals.
Midoun is located 30 minutes by car from the airport. You can easily access it by car, taxi, or with the services of your hotel.
