Kitesurf at Augusta

Kitesurf spot in Australia

Augusta: kite spot summary

One hour south of Margaret River (and about 4 hours by car from Perth), Augusta is a flat spot suitable for all levels.

The spot is located in the estuary of a river that flows into Flinders Bay, offering super flat water.

With the added bonus of being able to touch the bottom almost everywhere and being able to ride at full speed for nearly a kilometer, it’s clear that Augusta is ideal for both freestyle and freeride.

This Australian spot is definitely worth a visit.

Pros: super flat and shallow – ideal for freestyle – ideal for speed

Cons: water color (estuary)
