Woodmans point: kite spot summary
Woodmans Point is an Australian kitesurf spot, located in the southern suburbs of Perth, it is THE ultimate spot for pros: a strip of sand, two zones including a super flat exposed offshore.
The other kite zone, exposed onshore, is more choppy.
A spot for all levels, even though many pros train there… In any case, you will probably have a nice show on the offshore side…
Pros: proximity to Perth – super flat
Cons: “car break-ins” in the parking lot
Additional information and tips:
– You absolutely need a car to find the spot (anyway, in Australia, it’s better to have a car…). However, be careful not to leave anything inside that may attract theft: “car break-ins” are common…
– You won’t regret having your sunglasses in the late afternoon!
