Corralejo - Flag Beach: kite spot summary

The kite spot of Flag Beach is the most popular spot in the North of the island of Fuerteventura, located 10 minutes from Corralejo, and accessible by car or taxi (between 2€ and 5€ per trip).

Beautiful white sandy beach and turquoise water. It’s a perfect place for kitesurfing as well as for chilling (sunbeds and umbrellas available).

The spot gets waves depending on the conditions. Watch out for the reef, this spot is not ideal for beginners who would be better off taking lessons in open water (there are schools on the spot).

The advantage of Flagbeach is its proximity to the city center, where you can have a drink or go shopping, and to the other wild wave spots in the North (such as El Cotillo).

NB:
– Be sure to respect the area designated for windsurfers.
– The beach is not very wide for takeoff, especially in summer when the beach is crowded.
