Kitesurf training on the island of Sal

Your kitesurf stay with Kite Verde starts as soon as you arrive on the island of Sal, where the team takes care of you. You will quickly get to know your instructors, who will explain the course of the stage and the local specificities before embarking on the adventure.

From the first day, you start on Kite Beach to learn about kite handling and safety rules. During this first two-hour session, you will learn to control your kite on the ground before diving into the water. Over the days, you progress in kitesurfing with bodydrag sessions, then you tackle the waterstart, the technique that allows you to stand up on the board and cover your first meters.

Whether you are a beginner or advanced, the instructors will adjust the lessons to your level.

If you are a beginner, you will be taken to the calm bay of Santa Maria, where a safety boat accompanies you.

If you already have some experience, you can venture out on the waves of Kite Beach to perfect your technique, such as going upwind or successfully completing your first jumps.

Your free time is also well filled, with activities such as surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, or diving to explore the marine wonders of the island. In the evening, you can participate in debriefings with your instructors to analyze your progress and discuss the goals of the next sessions.

The end of the stay is marked by more free sessions, where you put into practice what you have learned, always under the supervision of the team.
