OUR STORY
It all began in 2003, when Virginie—a snowboarder and windsurfer from Grenoble—discovered kitesurfing and instantly fell in love with the sport.

At the time, she was working in the tech industry while also teaching sports. In 2006, she earned her IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) instructor certification, left France, and began teaching kitesurfing on some of the world’s most beautiful spots: the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Martinique and the Grenadines, Cape Verde…

Then she discovered Brazil—a true love-at-first-sight—and never left.

After eight years teaching across various Brazilian spots, she founded her own school in 2013 in Lagoinha, a peaceful kitesurfing haven far from mass tourism. KITE ON was born!

With experience teaching in a wide range of conditions, across different structures, and in four different languages, she became an IKO Assistant Trainer in 2017, then an IKO Instructor Trainer in 2024, becoming the first female IKO Examiner in kitesurfing history.

Now with 22 years of experience on the water, she’s still riding as often as possible and can’t wait to help you discover the magic of Lagoinha and its incredible spots!

As an IKO-certified center and official IKO Instructor Training Center, we’re held to high standards in terms of safety, teaching, and gear quality. And we’ve chosen to settle in Lagoinha for one big reason: the wind is steady, daily, and reliable for six months straight.

Whether you’re a total beginner, an experienced rider, or into freestyle, waves, twin-tip, or wingfoil—we’ll support you with tailored coaching and take care of all logistics so you can focus on enjoying your ride.

We’ll even pick you up from your accommodation and take you straight to the Lagoa do Jegue (or Lagoinha Beach), where your session begins—and doesn’t end until sunset.

Kitesurfing Lessons
We prioritize private coaching—the most effective way to progress in the lagoon. With your instructor right beside you, you’ll receive continuous feedback whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or advanced rider.

You can also get 20% off with a semi-private lesson (1 instructor for 2 students of the same level).

Private Lessons (gear included)

7-hour pack: €392

10-hour pack: €560

€48/hour per person (minimum 2-hour sessions)

If you book more than 10 hours, you’ll get extra discounts—especially if you’re coming as a group!
We usually recommend 2 hours per day, but we’ll adapt to your rhythm for optimal progression.

Downwinds
We regularly organize downwind sessions, where you ride from one spot to another with the wind at your back—an absolute must-do during your stay in Brazil!

We offer various routes and difficulty levels to match your experience and goals.

Supervision
Already riding upwind and nailing your transitions, but still want a bit of support? Our supervision service is ideal:
We’ll help you launch and land your kite, keep an eye on you, and step in if needed.
