Anse aux pins: kite spot summary
Located on Mahé, the main island of the Seychelles, the kite spot of Anse aux Pins is a shallow, translucent flat lagoon, protected by a reef about 500 meters from the shore. It is very safe for beginners. It is undoubtedly the most popular spot on the island, but don’t worry, you won’t be bothered by the crowd!
The spot has the particularity of changing its appearance according to the tide: the beach is very small at high tide and wider at low tide (the water becomes very shallow in some places). You can also surf some waves on the reef that protects the lagoon, but don’t expect world-class waves!
The spot is located near the main airport. You won’t have any trouble parking your car. There is even a grassy area to set up your gear.
