Djerba - Nord de l'île: kite spot summary
Djerba is an island that benefits from good conditions for kiteboarding in Tunisia. To the north of the island, a few kilometers from Houmt Souk (10 minutes from the airport by car), you will find the Smile Beach spot, a large lagoon of 30 square kilometers.
The area is reserved for kitesurfing and offers ideal conditions for learning: sideshore exposure, shallow water, and fairly light wind.
A few kilometers to the east, there is the beach of the Radisson hotel, which, over 2 kilometers long, offers a superb setting for sailing (flat, shallow at the start…).
In the north, there is also the Rose lagoon, which receives some small waves.
