El Coche: kite spot summary
The kite spot of El Coche (Playa la Punta spot) is located in front of Margarita, a 20-minute boat ride from the El Yaque spot.
It is a beautiful freestyle spot with turquoise waters, completely flat.
At El Coche, the wind is offshore – so the spot is not ideal for beginners, although many small boats can come get you in case of trouble – and it is regular but slightly less strong than at El Yaque.
Many pros come to train there, it is a good spot for improvement in Venezuela.
