Tibau do Sul is located 1 hour south of Natal. The place is known for being the breeding ground for dolphins and turtles.
The wind blows a little less strongly than in the north (15 to 25 knots) but offers very good kiteboarding conditions: the lagoon is extra flat and ideal for beginners, and the mouth of the lagoon is also great but reserved for more experienced riders. The beach break at the mouth allows you to learn small waves… in short, something to please a lot of people.
A 20-minute walk away, you’ll find the consistent beach break of Cacimbinha and the spot of Barra Do Cunhau, on a river (also ideal for beginners).
