Dilsiri, Leo, and their team operate a hotel and kite school situated on the North West coast of Sri Lanka, specifically on the peninsula of Kalpitiya. The location is around two and a half hours from the Colombo International Airport.

The school takes advantage of the area’s ideal kitesurfing conditions, with “flat” spots, waves, and a lagoon that experiences an average wind speed of 18 to 20 knots during the summer season from May to October.

In the winter season, which still maintains a warm temperature of 26°C, from December to March, visitors can enjoy the thermal wind in the afternoon. This is also the best time to watch dolphins and partake in diving.

The Indian Ocean in this region is perfect for freeride or riding the waves right in front of the camp. Kalpitiya lagoon is well-suited for beginners and freestylers, while the expansive Puttalam lagoon provides numerous opportunities for Downwind and camping trips.
