The Story of Kitetrip Planner
Kitetrip Planner was born in 2014 with the goal of organizing the available information in the kitesurfing world and helping kiters plan their trips more easily.
As a community-driven platform, it references the best spots, schools, and accommodations, along with user reviews, allowing travelers to choose their destination based on the season and their preferences. It provides a clear overview of what each kiter can expect depending on their desires, dates, and skill level.
By the end of 2016, we obtained our official travel agent license, allowing us to legally and professionally organize kitesurfing trips for those who needed a helping hand. This led to the launch of our TRAVEL AGENCY section, offering tailor-made trips. As a small-scale agency, far from big tour operators, we focused exclusively on customized trips, highlighting our handpicked local gems.
In March 2023, Kitetrip Planner entered a new chapter. It was taken over by a passionate kitesurfer who, through years of kiting around the world, has gained extensive knowledge of the best destinations. The mission remains the same: to share the passion for kitesurfing and provide the best insights to help travelers make the most of their trips.
This marks a fresh start for Kitetrip Planner. It is no longer a travel agency, and the format has evolved.
Kitetrip Planner is now your personal advisor, a tool to simplify the organization of your kitesurfing trips.
The goal is to provide quality content throughout the year about your favorite spots and to uncover the best service providers and deals to enhance your kitesurfing adventures.
A Word from Arnaud, the New Face of Kitetrip Planner
Born and raised in Bordeaux, and utterly passionate about kitesurfing (some might even call it an obsession), I grew up with the irresistible urge to chase the nearest spot every time I felt the wind brush against my face. Throughout the many kitesurfing trips I’ve planned, Kitetrip Planner has always been an invaluable resource for me.
Having always dreamed of turning this passion into a way of life, it’s an immense honor for me to take over this project.
My goal is to give Kitetrip Planner a fresh start—continuing to bring you the best hidden gems in kitesurfing destinations, creating new unforgettable adventures just for you, and sending you dream-worthy inspiration from around the world while you wait for your next kitesurfing trip.

Passionate about board sports, travel, and a true globetrotter with a deep love for nature and the ocean, I naturally settled in the heart of the Caribbean a few years ago, in Martinique. After living in Brittany and the Landes, I now fully enjoy my kite and surf sessions—this time, in a swimsuit!
Through Kitetrip Planner, my goal has always been to help you build the perfect kitesurfing trip, tailored to your desires, while sharing this passion with anyone who wants to experience it. To me, kitesurfing is not just a sport—it’s a mindset, a way of life.
